Grilled Cheese Croutons
Makes: 2 Serves
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 6 minutes
Ingredients:
4 Slices of bread (Square not thick)
Parmesan
Mature aged cheddar
2tbsp butter
Method:
1. Grab two slices of bread, and butter one side of each slice evenly.
2. On the unbuttered side of one slide, layer mature cheddar cheese and sprinkle freshly grated parmesan (can use any cheese you have in the fridge)
3. Place the second slice on top, buttered side facing out
4. Heat pan over low to medium heat and cook sandwich in the pan until the bread is golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted 3- 5 minutes per side.
5. Removed from pan and cut into desired crouton-sized portions (recommended 9 pieces), and ENJOY!
